Brisbane Birth Photographer – Samia's Birth Story
Brisbane Birth Photographer Angie Petersen captures Samia's birth story of baby Jaxson on the 21st February 2016 at Mater Mothers Hospital. It was a stressful time leading up to the birth as complications had arisen in a recent ultrasound regarding bubs stomach. It came to the day and I got the call at 925am to say Samia was 5cm so I jumped in the car within 5mins and raced off to the Mater Mothers. I got only 10 mins down the road to get an update that Samia was ready to push now, OMG im thinking NOOOOOOO! She cant have this baby without me! I was so super stressed on not making it on time, I was running from the car park with my heavy camera bag on my back to try and make it there in time! Got to reception and got let in to find Samia still in one piece and waiting for me to arrive! OMG!! What incredible strength to hold back pushing until i got there! I walked in the door and the midwife said 'well shes here now so you can start pushing'. So then it was all on! I arrived at 955am and baby Jaxson was born at 1018am and perfectly fine! Jaxson Richard weighed 2.56kg and measured 51cm long. What a great story! It was very emotional in the room with with everyone in tears of joy! Man it was hard to keep it together myself taking photos while everyone else is crying lol. I may of shed a tear or two 🙂 A huge congratulations to Ryan and Samia on the birth of your gorgeous boy! Thanks so much for allowing me the opportunity to be there with you all to capture the first breath of your first baby together 🙂
