Maternity sessions are such a gorgeous experience for us to capture for us. We love watching you glowing mummies join us in stdio (or on location). We are well known for our butterfly effect Maternity sessions and use of gorgeous flowing material and we can’t wait for you to experience this yourself.
Maternity and Newborn photography is such an absolutely valued experience here at Desire to Inspire photography, we understand that the journey we go through during pregnancy and introducing a precious bundle of joy into the world is something that we truly can’t put a price on, but what we truly love to embrace, is that by securing your Newborn session with us, you will also received a complimentary Maternity session!
When you book in your newborn session, you will also receive a 1 Hour Maternity session which includes the use of our gorgeous Maternity gowns. These sessions can be shot on location or in our Brisbane Studio.
Our maternity sessions, and newborn sessions aren’t just a special moment for the glowing mum to be, we always include the dad to be and of course the big brothers and/or sisters!
Newborns are the absolute favourite subject Angie loves to capture and well and truly shows through her passion for capturing all those tiny details of your newborn baby. Angie will comfort them, soothe them to sleep then carefully pose them into position. Angie is often called the baby whisperer by many clients as she seems to get all babies to settle and sleep so well.
These sessions we believe are so important to capture as your baby will only be so small for such a short time and you will blink and miss it, next thing they are 6 months old before you know it. Angie focuses on capturing all those details of your newborn before they begin to change their looks and no longer look like a newborn. Your newborn session will be a special milestone in your baby’s life. I want to help you tell the story of your new baby.
I like to create a calm and peaceful environment during our time together. It’s important to let me know if we will be photographing older siblings, as well as mummy and daddy shots. These will take place at the beginning of the session so that we may have the remaining time focusing on the baby alone. Angie is very much sought after and has won many awards for her photography and passion in this field.
We all know that our babies grow up in what seems like a blink of an eye. They are born, they start crawling, then walking then BAM!, its their first birthday! How is it possible that 365 days can go so fast???
So your babies now turning ONE, and what better way is there to celebrate your babies first birthday then with a bright, fun, CAKE SMASH!!
Desire to Inspire’s cake smash session are held in our Brisbane “Rocklea” Studio and are all uniquely designed to suit your colour ideas and themes! We go over all of this and offer ideas for you throughout our pre-session consultation.
The ideas, themes and colours for these sessions are literally endless! And honestly, so much fun!
These sessions also include bath tub fun to wash that messy cake off, and again, and furthermore we also ensure we capture the ‘before things get messy’ shots also so you have some cleaner images to treasure for your baby!
We honestly love creating these unique sessions for your little ones and we can guarantee you that you are going to love the end result!

How often do you find your little one smashing those milestones before you even know what is going on, and then you find yourself trying to recall exactly what they were like at those stages of their life, we have all been there before, BUT luckily for you, we are here to capture those precious moments for you.

Here at Desire to Inspire Photography we truly value and encourage you to ‘Be Present’ in photos. This means, get in photos with your children, with your partner, with your friends, just BE PRESENT!!!

These sessions are held in our Rocklea studio or on location. We discuss location and clothing options during our pre-session consultation so you have nothing to worry about.

Our Dollcake dress sessions are fast becoming one of our most popular sessions as your little girls enjoy the chance to dress up as the princesses they are.
We have an entire wardrobe of Dollcake dresses with sizes ranging from 0 through to children size 14.
Our Dollcake dresses can be used throughout all sessions however we do encourage your little ones to enjoy a special session just for them utilising a range of dresses.
Our Dollcake sessions can be held in studio or on location. These are the perfect sessions to capture some gorgeous portraits of your little girls, or even some mummy and me images.
